Your Day Itinerary
Early Morning — Nairobi Departure
Your driver-guide picks you up from your Nairobi hotel or a central meeting point in the early morning (typically 5:30–6:00 AM). The road journey to the Masai Mara takes approximately 5–6 hours via the scenic Narok route, passing through the Great Rift Valley escarpment — a breathtaking drive in its own right.
Late Morning — Arrive & Begin Game Drive
Arrive at the Masai Mara and head straight into the reserve. The late morning is an excellent time for wildlife — predators are still active, and the golden light is perfect for photography. Your guide will navigate the terrain expertly, tracking animal movements and sharing deep knowledge of the ecosystem, behaviour, and Maasai culture.
Midday — Bush Lunch
