Your Full-Day Itinerary
Morning — Into the Reserve
Meet your group and guide at the designated assembly point and enter the Masai Mara reserve as the savannah wakes up. Morning is prime time for predator activity — lions finishing their night hunts, cheetahs scanning the open plains, and hyenas retreating to their dens. Your guide reads the landscape like a map, navigating to where the action is while sharing fascinating insights into animal behaviour, the ecosystem, and Maasai culture.
Midday — Bush Lunch on the Plains
Pause for a packed lunch in the bush — one of those simple moments that somehow becomes a highlight of the trip. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Mara, with zebra grazing nearby and eagles circling overhead, even lunch feels like a wildlife encounter.
Afternoon — Continued Game Drive
The afternoon drive takes you deeper into the reserve. Big cats become more active as the heat eases, and the Mara River offers dramatic encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and an extraordinary variety of birdlife. During the Great Migration season (July–October), this stretch of river is where the famous wildebeest crossings happen — one of nature's most breathtaking spectacles.
Late Afternoon — Return & Farewell
As the sun begins its descent and the savannah glows amber, your game drive comes to a close. Return to the assembly point with your group, swap photos and stories, and head off with a day you'll be talking about for years.
